Coming from someone who used to feel like everything had to be perfect before taking the next step, trust me when I say this: perfection isn’t the perfect formula.
I'm a Virgo 🌠 through and through, so yes…I love things “just so.” It’s a blessing and a curse. The upside is that I’m detail-oriented, organized, and structured. The downside? Perfection can delay action.
And even if you’re not a Virgo, I know some of you feel that same way…that everything in your business, your content, or your marketing strategy needs to be flawless before you begin.
Here’s the truth: it doesn’t. You just have to start.
Whether it's showing up on social media, writing your first post, creating your first reel, designing graphics, or building an email marketing strategy… the growth happens after you begin, not before.
During a virtual Instagram Reels training this week, I was teaching a client how to film, edit, and post her first reel. My advice? Just start. Play with it. Create one. Post it. Then use the next one to improve.
Now is the time to jump in.
Messy action is better than no action…every single time.
