After taking some time away to recharge, reflect, and simply relax, I found myself thinking a lot about success and how differently I define it now compared to earlier years in my career.

Somewhere along the way, social media convinced business owners that the most important number was follower count. 10K followers. 100K followers. Viral reels.

This isn’t just a regular update…it’s a milestone. A milestone that has been in the works for quite a while. It's a little difficult for me to even wrap my head around because when you're in the midst of nitty-gritty work, you often feel like there is no end in sight.

A few thoughts that jumped out to me recently: Time flies. Time is precious. Time is easily wasted. And…it’s also very easy to waste if you’re not paying attention.

I’m not behind… and you might not be either. I wanted to share something that has been on my mind lately…I’ve realized I am not behind…I am building something brand new.

What I see now is that when a client doesn't know where to start, it's usually because there are multiple ideas, messages, offers, platforms, and advice all coming from different directions.

If your marketing has felt more overwhelming than usual, don't be hard on yourself. It may not be the lack of effort that needs attention. It may be a simple structure.

These are real questions and each one could easily become a blog post, a carousel, a graphic, or even a full email on its own.

Writer's block is a real thing. We sit down to write content for social media, a blog, or an email newsletter, and our fingers suddenly just sit on the keyboard.

If you’re a small business owner, I highly recommend keeping a simple list like this handy. Think of it as a planning tool, not a pressure-filled checklist. I even researched a few quirky observances that were in line with my own business as potential content ideas.
