If You Don’t Know Where to Start, Start Here
The starting point isn’t content…it’s structure.
One of the most common things I hear is: “I don't know where to start."
One of the most common things I hear when someone reaches out for marketing support is: “I don't know where to start."
It makes complete sense.
I remember when I didn't know where to start either.
I remember trying to figure out how to write a business proposal back in the day to a potential aircraft owner. I remember trying to figure out how to write an email newsletter to patients at our chiropractic office. I remember another time trying to learn what a landing page was. I spent two solid weeks trying to figure out what it was!
So yes, I understand 🧡
I have many memories of not knowing where to start, and I am still constantly learning new things every day.
Fast forward to today.
What I see now is that when a client doesn't know where to start, it's usually because there are multiple ideas, messages, offers, platforms, and advice all coming from different directions. When this happens, it is very easy for your marketing to feel “all over the place."
Most people think they need to start filling the platforms with content.

All the ideas. All the offers…everywhere. Let's just get it out there, right?
But what I found is that when the foundation isn't clear, chaos sets in.
When I work with an overwhelmed business owner, we start somewhere else.
The order often looks like:
Organize the content and ideas
Clarify the message
Identify the main offer
Then decide how and where to show up online
Just a quick peek into my secret sauce👩🍳
Once things are organized, the overwhelm begins to calm down.
I hear things like, “yes, that makes so much sense” and “yes, this feels better."
Often, you're not far from saying those things too; it just takes some organization and some structure.
