I wanted to share something that has been on my mind lately…
I’ve realized I am not behind…I am building something brand new🪴
This transition…from one business model to another has come with a completely new identity, a new style, and a brand that actually feels like me and where I’m headed.
I can’t even fully put the excitement into words. This new chapter has been beyond fantastic. But if I am being honest 🫣 …it hasn’t looked polished to my “liking” just yet and not quite up to “Amy Standards." You are watching me build this in real time. The messy middle is out there for all to see.
My Instagram grid isn’t quite where I want it yet. My posting hasn’t been perfectly consistent. My website is still under construction. Wait…are these the same things that bother my clients? 😲 Yes.
And honestly, for a minute, I started to get in my head about all of it. But then I had to remind myself of something I tell my clients all the time: “once everything is streamlined, it starts to run like a well-oiled machine." It's the progress, not the perfection that matters🧡
Right now, I'm in the building phase, all the parts are moving behind the scenes along with my day-to-day client and project work.
And this realization also reminded me how much we tend to overthink and critique ourselves…when most people aren’t looking nearly as closely as we think they are.
